Very, very, cool. My only complaint is that the index finger looks a bit off, like the knuckles just don't exist or something. Other than that, this composition is fantastic. The spacing and placement, the anatomy of the female figure, and the curliness of the hairs at the ends are all genius. This piece made me think a lot. I had to take a minute to decide if her figure is too stiff or not. It almost seems like a very stock pose, if you know what I mean? Or was that intentional? I like how she almost seems like a puppet, but then not. And I like the ribbon/cloth. And how her legs are placed so that she sort of tapers away?
Sorry for being so long winded. I just thoroughly enjoyed seeing and thinking this piece through. Great work.
No worries, seeing the long comment made me happy! Thanks for the critique - yeah, I realise now I could've done much better anatomically, but I remember at the time I had gotten this book on drawing hands and this was my first serious attempt at it. Glad you like it, thanks for viewing :black:
