Ispired by The Black Jewels trilogy by Anne Bishop. I've currently started the 3rd book, Queen of the Darkness. It's truly a state-of-the-art story, those who like dark fantasy should definately check them out!
Jaenelle unable to forget the horrors of Briarwood even 8 years later as a Black Widow Healer Queen (During book 2, Heir to the Shadows.)
This is a little more macabre than my usual stuff but this book should in no way be sugar-coated.
